UPSC Engineering Recruitment 2025 : Important information
The UPSC released the ESE (Mains) admit card for the 2025 Engineering Services Examination on 30 July 2025. Candidates can download the e‑Admit Card from upsconline.gov.in
The Mains exam is scheduled for 10 August 2025, and is held in two shifts:
9:00 AM – 12:00 PM: Paper‑I
2:30 PM – 5:30 PM: Paper‑II
This year, UPSC is filling 232 posts through this exam, with a total of 457 vacancies announced earlier in the recruitment cycle.
How to Download Your Admit Card
1. Visit upsconline.gov.in.
2. Go to the “e‑Admit Card Engineering Services” link in the “What’s New” or “Active Exams” section.
3. Select ESE (IES) Admit Card 2025, and enter Registration ID or Roll Number, along with Date of Birth and Captcha.
4. Submit to view and download your hall ticket; print at least two copies for safety .
Important Exam Day Instructions
1. Carry the printed admit card and the same photo ID you entered while applying (e.g. Aadhaar, Voter ID, PAN, Passport, Driving Licence).
2. If your photograph on the admit card is blurry or missing, bring two passport-sized photos(with your name & date) plus the valid ID.
3. Report to the exam centre at least 30 minutes before the session starts; entry closes 10 minutes before the official exam start time .
4. Preserve your admit card until the final results are out.

1. Verify that all personal details (name, roll number, center) are correct. Immediately report discrepancies via the official UPSC portal or the email provided
2. Keep multiple printed copies and maintain safe custody of your admit card.
